Description
By the end of the programme participants will be able to:
- Understand the Health & Safety aspects and legislative requirements of fluid power systems
- Understand circuit components, their function and interaction between components, through practical exercises
- Design circuits, read circuit drawings and understand graphical representation
- Develop a logical approach to fault diagnosis and recording of fault diagnosis through practical exercises

- Principles of fluid power systems and safety
- Air conditioning, flow and pressure
- Pipework connections, distribution and actuation
- Circuit design, construction, tests and fault find
- Circuit components, actuation and graphical representation
- Circuit construction and test
- Interaction between pneumatic components
- Logical fault diagnosis and testing
- Basic electric circuits and principles
